Arte Fiera / Day 0

Hi dear friends,

Sorry this is really an Italian thing so I have to write it in Italiano ;-)

Eccoci qua amici amante dell'arte, allora cosa si può dire, anche l'arte sente la crisi quest'anno?!

Meno artisti, meno galleristi e critici importanti? Cosa sta succedendo?! Sono otto anni che frequento l'Arte Fiera di Bologna, ma non era mai stata cosi come questa volta. C'erano più opere di artisti morti che vivi. Cosa è successo alle grallerie straniere? Le gallerie cinisi? Quelle americane? In questi giorni metterò mano a mano le opere in modo che possiate vedere anche voi l'Arte Fiera di 2012! :-)

We have always thought to show our art in art shows, galleries or exhibition spaces. But I have to say it is not always like this. Salvo Palazzolo had a great and funny idea to show his art in a fish shop! :-)))

Finger Prints by Tomomi Takamatsu

The works that we see in Finger Prints are stories of daily life linked to the Japanese tradition, which is renewed through the contact with the Western culture. It's the personal story with the cultural roots that shows us the personality of the artist and the viewer that was reflected in it.

The works of Tommomi Takamatsu are strongly connected with the impression of Japanese (Oriental) manual technics.

Art week - Julian Schnabel

In this week begins international exhibition of contemprary art in Bologna. I would like to open this event with Julian Schnabel paintings.
I really like his art work so much. I decided to show you the series of "Plate Paintings" that during the 80's made him so famous!

The paintings are quite in a large size. In my pictures I focused so much in details.

So, what do you think about these art works?!

Once again the woman's body is an excuse to talk about something else. Acting as a pin cushion in social and political dimension and in her personal relationships. A critical approach of artist, but not cold and far, even better profoundly participated and immersed in the images.

Ivana says: "Loverrs / Fuckerrs" is a small theater of diving. It's a narrative that does not start from the beginning but starts from the middle. It's a endurance event, fights, killings, without any shadow of pain.
