KITON

KITON
Spring/Summer 2016

Palazzo Kiton -

The Kiton men’s Spring-Summer 2016 presentation is an invitation to discover a kaleidoscope of images from Naples in the 40’s, fil rouge and inspiration of the new collection created in the historical tailorshop of Arzano for the next summer.

Fragments of everyday life in Naples from a past era animate the three sartorial booths forming an imposing mirrored prism positioned in the centre of the main floor of Palazzo Kiton.
Twelve men and three women interpret the Kiton style in the three different sets; in a game of reflections and symbolic scenographic elements, the three installations are inspired to three different moments of the Neapolitan good life and embody the universe of the collection.

Game – this is the frame chosen to tell the story of daywear: among chess, dice and playing cards, the elegance of retro double-breasted linen and cashmere jacket as well as weightless 12.8 micron wool in full Mediterranean colours, such as yellow, turquoise, cobalt blue, emerald and cherry red.

Sea – waves, sails boats and the historical boat clubs of Naples are the main references for the section of the collection designed for the free time. Today just like then, Neapolitan gentlemen love to dress with great attention and elegance even for jolly and relaxed occasions.  Sportswear with a clear and distinctive tailoring touch is the perfect combination between tradition and research.

Grande Soirée – champagne glasses and the stage of Teatro San Carlo are the set for eveningwear: dark suits, tuxedos and dinner jackets with large revers designed to emphasize a distinctive, timeless elegance.

In the respect of the Neapolitan artisan heritage
In the hands of Kiton’s tailors the past becomes avantgarde and the future becomes tradition.

Dalcuore

Dalcuore
Sartoria
By Luigi Dalcuore
Director: Damiano Annunziato
Milan Fashion Week,
Spring/Summer 2016

Fresca, sofisticata, versatile.
Napoletani, giapponesi, americani, tutti innamorati dello stile made in Naples Dalcuore, frutto di esperienza, intuito e buon gusto.

There was always a way to ride...

They were always horses coming...
There was always a way to ride...
And plenty of love to soothe...
